WPHX ANNOUNCEMENTS

BOYS & GIRLS TRACK @ 1:30

 

  • 7/8 Orchestra will rehearse today during 8th Period.
  • There will be NO Academic Team meeting today, Friday, April 26th.  The next Academic Team meeting will be next week on Friday, May 3rd.

     

  • Attention Band Students—Symphonic Band plays today period 8. Today’s Band Lessons are

    Period 1 French Horn 3

    Period 3 Symphonic Make Ups

    Period 5 Trombone 3

    Period 7 French Horn 1

    Period 8 Symphonic Band

     

  • 6th grade chorus will have class today 8th period

 

  • If you are interested in playing tennis this spring - grab a form outside girls locker room. Any questions please ask mrs. krueger. 

    Tennis club will begin May 7th at 7 am

    Tennis club is open to all grades, both boys and girls and all levels

    Grab a paper and return to Mrs. Krueger

     

  • The boys’ tennis team lost a tough one yesterday at Radnor Middle School by the score of 2 to 5.  Several matches went to a tiebreaker where the Phantoms showed a lot of character.  Josh DeFreitas lost a really hard-fought match 6-7.  However, in another tie breaker match, the doubles team of Colin Ward and Jake Spear won 7-6.  Also winning at doubles yesterday was the team of Raj Dodda and Sam Jouenne, 6-1.

    Practice after school today at the VARSITY Courts.

  • The girls lacrosse game against Owen J. Roberts on Monday ended in a tie. Mila stood out on defense with many amazing defensive plays, preventing Owen J from outscoring the Phantoms. Sofia, Izzy, and Nuala each scored one goal and Mila scored two with assists from Izzy and Sadie to keep the game tied, 5-5. The varsity girls won their game yesterday against Upper Perk, 15-5 with goals and assists made by many players. Paige score 4 goals, Nuala, Emily, and Audrina each scored 2, with Lexi, Mila, and Alyssa each scoring 1 goal. Emily, Mila, Riley, and Evie all assisted their teammates in scoring these goals. The JV girls also earned their first win of the season against Upper Perk, 5-2 with 2 goals scored by Lilah and Riley, and 1 goal scored by Lia.

     

  • The JV Softball Team beat Pottsgrove yesterday 22-6.

    Kallie Henn pitched a great game and Nola Progin was stellar behind the plate.

    Great defensive plays were made by Saraya Narayan, Quinn Shoemaker, and Grace Daley.

    The team was great on the bases and smart at the plate.

  • Varsity softball notched their fourth win of the season yesterday with a 14 to 4 victory over Pottsgrove.  The top of the order was on fire with Olivia Stec, Madison Baroni, and Maple Parsons scoring 11 of the 14 runs in the contest.  Natalie Paytas contributed with three RBIs and was on base all four times she was up.   Maple Parson pitched six strong innings, getting the win and striking out five.

     

  • The PAMS baseball teams won two games this week. They defeated Pottstown on Tuesday, and Pottsgrove on Thursday. Great team effort was given by both teams who will ty to continue their winning ways next week with 3 games next week. Practice will be from 3 to 4 PM today. Please arrange for pickup at 4 PM. Thank you!
